PÖFF festival opening ceremony was focused this year to all countries that turned 100 years recently. As Estonia turned 100, we wanted to go to a journey to visit all our fellow birthday friends.

So we started from Estonia and went from there to Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech, Austria, Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Island. 

Finding our similarities and differences, exploring all these national dances and movements. Realising that through all these 100 years we still know how to work, love, fight, believe and most importantly celebrate. With joyous heart and soul.
